3/1/2024 0 Comments X wing cockpit interior![]() (C) Now, it’s the time to bind the custom cameras with the desired buttons. Anyway, Thanks to AcktuNasrabi, there is a work around to make custom view for the passenger window camera “passing the invisible walls” by editing CAMERAS.CFG file of the airplane. So, I’m keeping this for passenger view when possible (hopefully Microsoft will fix the movement inside the airplanes as I cannot do custom view for drone camera). Note: some planes allow for moving to the backseat as in Cub while others like Cessna, it’s not possible. Also 45 degrees are bit lower than what I want.Ĭustom Camera 5 → look front with a little to the bottom to show the trim wheel (personally, I prefer to see the wheel while adjusting the trim to set it visually to certain a position).Ĭustom Camera 8 → copilot view/ a bit closer (zoomed) to MFD/GPS screen Note: there are already dedicated shortcuts for 45 and 120 degrees cockpit quickview in camera views menu, you may use them if you like but I find custom camera better as I can use my free camera while using the custom view ( i.e., I can adjust custom camera when flying). My configuration is as followsĬustom Camera 7 → 45 degrees to the front left viewĬustom Camera 9 → 45 degrees to the front right viewĬustom Camera 1 → 120 degrees to the back left viewĬustom Camera 3 → 120 degrees to the back right view (we will assign the load shortcuts later below) Also make sure to click the numbers above the letters NOT the ones in the numpad. Important Note: use “LEFT” Ctrl and “LEFT” ALT. ![]() (A) Configure the first camera by positioning, for example, your view to be 45 degrees front view (you may use the free camera using the mouse to make the configuration precise including the desired zoom), then use the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+7 to save it on custom camera #7 The idea is to use one hand on the numpad of the keyboard or on the throttle buttons (as in TWCS throttle) to control the views. In the following, I’m sharing my configuration of custom cameras which made my experience much easier and enjoyable. I’m reposting it here in the public forum since the alpha forum cannot be accessed by newcomers.
![]() When stabilising, Topaz Video AI can upscale the horizontal dimension from 1440 to 1920 pixels without distorting the image and change from 25fps interlaced to 50fps progressive scan. Some of my old camcorder tapes were recorded at 1440 x 1080i PAL, but play back at 16:9 on a normal 1920 x 1080 HD TV. I forgot to mention that Topaz Video AI can convert pixel dimensions from anamorphic to square if you so desire. I might track down some cropped (undistorted) 4:3 DVDs and see if they're worth upscaling, although converting the whole series will add to my electricity bill. Vehicle wheels become ovals instead of circles and peoples' bodies and faces look unnaturally wide. One of my pet hates is 4:3 footage stretched to fit a widescreen TV. Instead I'll continue to watch the cropped 4:3 format I originally saw when the series came out on TV. After checking this site describing how they stretched 4:3 CGI to fit 16:9 screens, together with genuine 16:9 closeups, I won't be wasting my money on the Bluray box set. Agreed, the $300 price can be off putting, but you could wait for the next special offer. What I liked about Topaz was how easy it was to perform actions. Topaz can upscale even higher than 4K, but I've not tried these options. RF16, you can often upscale to 1080p with acceptable results. Similarly, if you can rip the original DVDs with Handbrake set to extra high quality, e.g. Depending on quality, it's possible to achieve good results upscaling from 720p or 1080p up to 2160p (4K). If you have an RTX 4090, you should be able to at least halve the time compared to the RTX 3060.įor normal upscaling where the camera position is static or professionally hand held, 'Rolling Shutter Correction' and 'Reduce Jittery Motion' are not required, so processing time is much faster. ![]() As an example, when upscaling a 1 hour 10 minute Youtube concert video from 1080p (HD) to 2160p (4K) with both corrections applied, it took 36 hours on an AMD 7950X + RTX 3060 system. The other options I find useful when processing shaky hand-held video in Topaz are 'Rolling Shutter Correction' and 'Reduce Jittery Motion', although these add hugely to the processing time. I tried reinstalling which made no difference. GPU load on gpu-z showed about 5 utilization. I was getting 0.1 fps with progressive video enhancement at 1080p and several seconds for denoise on a 3mp picture. ![]() Both Photo AI and Video Enhance AI were VERY slow even with GPU selected. The AI in Topaz looks at adjacent frames and does a good job recreating missing detail around the edge of each frame. Kind of a weird one, unfortunately I have not had a chance to attempt a repro. At the time, other programs cropped heavily to reduce shaky video and I wanted to keep the full view. What I found out works best for upscaling any type of video is. Where I live, the Bluray box set is cheaper than the DVD box set on Amazon.Īfter a brief test with Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas Pro and DaVinci Resolve in December 2022, I settled on Topaz Video AI because it allowed full-screen stabilisation of my hand held videos shot from a moving jeep on dirt roads. How to download and install Topaz Video Enhance AI. Thank's for the heads up about Baylon 5 release on Bluray in early December. 3/1/2024 0 Comments Lions backup qb ruddokThe better decision might be to just move on from both Blough and Boyle on Tuesday’s cut down day. So what should the Lions do? They can either stick with one of the backup quarterbacks and hope with all their might that Jared Goff doesn’t get injured this season and then go and solve this issue in the next offseason in the draft or in free agency. There is no question after Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that neither quarterback did this. Seeing the on-field product shows you that this is absolutely not the case.Įarlier in the week, Dan Campbell said he’s still looking for a backup quarterback to take the reins and step up. You’d hope when it’s such a tight battle, it’s because both players are competing so well. It’s been a back-and-forth battle the entire time with each guy taking turns being the clubhouse leader. ![]() Instead the Lions opted to bring back both Tim Boyle and David Blough in free agency.Īll summer the conversation has been about which one of the two will win the backup job. ![]() Holmes had chances to remedy the Lions’ backup quandary in both free agency and the draft, and he neglected to do so. However, the Lions are a team that has had backup quarterbacks start 11 games in the last three seasons. I’m sure there are some that are thinking, “So what? It’s just the backup quarterback spot.” I’m generally with you in that thought. But when it comes to the backup quarterback position, he’s failed in a pretty noticeable way. For the most part, the second-year general manager has nailed it in the draft and in free agency. It’s not very often that you can say definitively that Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes has made a big mistake. ![]() Jeen and Sunny had once stood side-by-side on stage, mirror images accepting the titles of co-valedictorians. The only question left: Who would she get to pull the trigger? Now Jeen, who had a ruthless knack for self-preservation and had come to the conclusion that Sunny was the reason for her own dismal spiral into adulthood, was beginning to hatch a plan to improve her lot: She would kill her identical twin. Teachers couldn’t tell them apart when Jeen and Sunny were teenagers at Mountain Empire High School, located on the border between California and Mexico in the middle of a hot dusty desert. To help others differentiate them, Jeen wore bangs and her hair short while Sunny wore her hair long. Jeen tended to be more serious, while Sunny often came off as happy-go-lucky.Īs young children, the twins had lived in South Korea with their mother, a woman named Boo Jun Kim. Kim had struggled during her own childhood, which saw its share of trauma. ![]() As a baby in Incheon, South Korea, she had witnessed heavily armed North Korean troops occupy the city. Kim also experienced disruption on an intensely personal scale when her father abandoned the family and ran off with a younger woman, leaving Kim’s mother to raise six children on her own. As Kim’s own marriage fell apart, patterns of family instability seemed to repeat for her young daughters. When Kim relocated her twins from South Korea to Southern California, she floated from job to job, boyfriend to boyfriend, while struggling with a spiraling gambling addiction. Among Korean immigrants to the United States, admitting mental health issues to this day is often stigmatized, seen implicitly as a sign of weakness or being out of control in a culture that prizes strength and self-discipline. Government-sponsored studies in the United States have shown Asian-Americans as the ethnic group least likely to seek such help. Ignoring her problems rather than confronting them, Kim only sunk deeper. There also seemed to be a re-enactment of Kim’s own father’s abandonment in her reckless pursuit of a flashier life. 3/1/2024 0 Comments Plan your garden layout![]() Each square within the larger square represents a different bed. Imagine the bed divided into four quarters, as if you have a piece of paper and have drawn a square on it and then a cross inside the square. Short crops like carrots, lettuce and radishes should grow in the southern end of the garden.Īnother vegetable garden layout idea is called a four square garden plan. Medium sized plants like tomatoes, squash and cabbage, should be grown in the center. Grow tall items such as corn or beans, on the north side of the garden to keep them from shading smaller crops. A garden that runs east to west tends to get too shaded from the crops growing in the preceding row. A north to south direction will ensure that the garden gets the best sun exposure and air circulation. The most basic garden plan consists of a design with straight, long rows running north to south orientation. Here are some of the most common garden layout plans for growing vegetables. Raised beds have the advantage of providing better drainage, warm quicker so you can plant earlier in the season, and the soil stays warmer than a garden plot which will bring the crops to maturity sooner. ![]() If you have black walnut trees nearby, a lack of sun in the desired garden area or inadequate soil, try planting in raised beds. Also, the garden site shouldn’t be near established tree or shrub roots that can steal moisture from the vegetable plants. Young plants will need to be watered often and you don’t want the watering to become such a chore that the task is abandoned altogether. Situate the garden near a convenient water source. If there is no adequate area in your landscape, vegetables can be planted in containers on a deck or patio that receives sun. The garden should also be located in an area of full sun. At this time, you can add compost, sand, humus, fertilizer or other ingredients. Once the results are in, you will know if and with what the soil needs to be amended. It’s probably a good idea to perform a soil test to determine its composition. The garden will thrive in well-draining, nutrient rich soil. Before planning a vegetable garden layout, there are a few things to consider. 3/1/2024 0 Comments Xmen first class movie![]() It was at this point that he meets Charles Xavier, Raven Darkholme and Moira MacTaggert, who were present as part of a botched U.S. ![]() His attempt at revenge fails when he is defeated by Shaw's Hellfire Club cohorts, being no match for their mutant powers. ![]() After seeing an old photograph of Shaw with the two officers, Erik kills them and proceeds to travel to Miami to face off against Shaw.Įrik eventually tracks him down to a small yacht off the American coast.
